WORK VISAS

PERMANENT INVESTOR

It is usable when the foreigner as an individual decides to exercise business activity in Brazil, either in new or existing company, as a partner or sole proprietor, with a minimum investment of $ 500,000.00 (five hundred thousand reais).

PERMANENT ADMINISTRATOR

Applies when a foreign company invests in a company installed in Brazil, which may indicate a foreigner to hold office management (administrator, manager, director or executive) for every R$ 600,000.00 (six hundred thousand reais) invested. If the investment is less than the value above to a minimum of R$ 150,000.00 (one hundred fifty thousand reais) the Brazilian company is required to hire at least 10 new Brazilian within two years from the foreign arrival in national territory .

TEMPORARY WITH LABOR CONTRACT

In this case the foreigner comes to work with Work Permit as an official condition of the Brazilian company, with valid visa for 2 years, transformable to Permanent.

TEMPORARY WITHOUT LABOR CONTRACT

In the business sphere this implies technology transfer through training of Brazilian employees. Must have cooperation or technical contract assistance between the foreign company and the Brazilian in which will work. The foreigner continues to maintain employment with the foreign company. Not applicable to administrative functions.
